Open House Saturday March 30th from 11 till 4
Come watch the sap boiling and turning into liquid gold! Learn how we make maple syrup, smell the steam, and have a tour of the sugarhouse and see the tapped trees. Free admission. You never know, it could be one of the last boils on a Saturday of the season, so make an effort to come. We need freezing nights and thawing days to have a sap flow, one without the other doesn't work. We don't know how much longer the sap will run, but so far it has been a great season. The latest we have ever made syrup was April 15th, and last year at this time it was long over.

Maple Sugaring Classes and Tours
Sweet Wind Farm is the perfect place to take your group, class, scouts, or family to an educational outing. Maple syrup samples given after class. Sap samples given out when available.Presentation material will be based on age of the participants. A great class for ages 3 - 99! For the younger set, a picture book will be read aloud also. Open House Days
During maple sugaring season we often host "Open House" at our sugarhouse whenever we are boiling sap.We will put up the "Open House" sign out front, so whenever you see that you can find us in action. We
try to plan this ahead of time every Saturday during February and March,
but it depends on the weather and sap flow, so please call ahead or
visit our website for updated notices. You are welcome to come visit and watch us boil in the evaporator, take a whiff of the heavenly steam and learn how we make syrup. If we aren't too busy at the moment we can offer a tour. You can purchase our maple products before you head home. Admission if free for our Open House, as always. If you are interested in a personal guided tour with a "whole nine yards" educational class, please see details above under "Maple Sugaring Classes and Tours".
